Below is an
example of illustrations by Dawie for a 2011 Grade 1
school work-book. The illustrations were done
digitally in order to meet tight publisher's
deadlines and also to swiftly implement any changes when required. On both
accounts, going digital proved to be the right
decision and it also saves time and money by
eliminating the need for scanning the original artwork.
Dawie uses
CorelPainter software.
Another example of a image digitally rendered for a Grade 3

by Pearson Education to illustrate two
school workbooks, namely the Grade 2
'Literacy' and 'Numeracy' titles. Below are
